Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026 · Applies to assistiv.co, assistiv.cloud, assistiv.tools and assistiv.services

These terms govern your use of the Assistiv Systems websites and the tools they host. By using the sites, you accept them. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

The Assistiv websites are operated by Assistiv Systems Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17082597, based in Faversham, Kent. Contact: simon@assistiv.co.

What our websites are for

Our websites describe the Assistiv ecosystem and host two kinds of tools: population intelligence tools built on open NHS data, and a community screening conversation. Both are provided for information, research and commissioning intelligence purposes.

Nothing on these websites is medical advice. Our tools inform, signpost and support; they do not diagnose, treat, or replace assessment by a qualified professional. Outputs such as Wellness Guides, screening scores and intelligence maps are advisory. If you have concerns about your health or someone else's, speak to a GP or call NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.

Intelligence tools and modelled estimates

The intelligence tools on assistiv.cloud are built on published open data and produce modelled estimates, not measurements. Signal weights, sources, limitations and uncertainty bounds are documented in our published methodology. Scores describe places, never people, and are provided for research and commissioning intelligence purposes only. They must not be used to make decisions about identifiable individuals.

Intellectual property

The content, design, software, methodologies and branding on these websites are the proprietary intellectual property of Assistiv Systems Limited, unless otherwise stated. You may view, share and quote our content for non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce our tools, scrape our sites at scale, or use our content to build competing services without our written agreement.

Open data presented within our tools remains subject to its original licences, including the Open Government Licence. Sources include NHS Fingertips, NHSBSA EPD, ONS Census 2021 and MHCLG IMD 2025, each credited in-tool.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use these websites or tools to attempt unauthorised access to any system, to disrupt their operation, to misrepresent their outputs as clinical determinations, to harvest data about individuals, or for any unlawful purpose. The screening conversation is designed for genuine personal use; do not use it to input another person's information without their knowledge and agreement.

Availability and changes

Our websites and tools are provided free of charge and on an "as available" basis. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of them at any time, including the data behind the intelligence tools. We update content regularly but do not guarantee that everything is complete or current at every moment; data freshness for the intelligence layer is published on our data status page.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the websites and tools are provided for information purposes free of charge, and we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on their content or outputs, including modelled estimates, screening outputs, or decisions made on the basis of either.

Third-party links

Our websites link to third-party sites and resources, including NHS and government sources. We are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the websites.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated, and continued use of the websites after a change constitutes acceptance.
